Layla's POV

I took a deep breath. “Yes Andrew,” I replied, never for once taking my eyes off the floor. I didn’t have the effrontery to look him in the eyes. I was afraid that he would see through her if I stared him in the eyes.

“Are you pregnant?” Andrew asked again and I sighed again.

“No, I’m not,” I let out. I knew that he wouldn’t believe me because I didn’t sound confident of my response. Heck I wouldn’t believe myself either if I was in Andrew’s shoes.

“I don’t believe you, my lady. You are pregnant,” He added and this time around I nodded my head. I didn’t want to deny it anymore. There was no point to it.
