Layla's POV

I sighed in relief as I heard Andrew’s words. Even though he meant that he won’t say anything for now, I wasn’t scared. Because I knew that before he would talk, I would come out plain and mustered enough courage to tell Nate about my pregnancy, but for now, I should be relieved, shouldn’t I?

“Alright, Andrew, thank you,” I thanked him and he just nodded his head.

“You are welcome, my lady. By the way, you should try to eat from that meal the maids brought earlier. You know, you can’t keep the baby on an empty stomach, you know that right?” His voice was laced with concern. I found myself smiling.
