She nodded. So he commenced talking.
He informed her about growing up in the Chimera—a near-primitive society that did not use technology, but have been highly intelligent. Stronger, faster, and with better senses than any human.
He advised her about being a teenage Chimera—and how his handlers decided he wanted to apprehend how higher to relate to pure humans.
“So… the humans who made you are there?” she requested quietly.
“They visit,” Gabriel said thru his teeth. “It's form of like… a natural world sanctuary. Let the natives live their herbal life, you know? But then… then they come in on occasion and… interfere.”
