Drake shook his head. “If he's taken ladies that already have mates, it's a violation—whether the females had been inclined or not. And if he is taken ladies that do not have mates, that have not bonded to every person else… if they've taken the bond to him… a couple of girls bonded to one male is… sick.” He spat the word. “If he has left no girls for any different male Chimera, he has doomed our human beings to death.”

“No, he wasn't… he stated it was for the contrary of that. That they instructed him they wished him to do this in any other case the Chimera would die out.
