Alpha Darrel POV

After spending a while in the hospital I headed back to the pack house with Edna, she was fully recovered and the doctor said she was fine to return back to the pack house.

When they got to the pack I helped her inside the house, and when they got to inside the house the maids helped me take her to the room, my mom was seated on the couch in the sitting room and couldn’t come help, she just couldn’t hide the fact that she hated Edna so much.

I stared at her and didn’t go towards her because I was disappointed in her for the reaction she gave. I was not expecting her to react that way judging from the way she’s been treating Edna.

After a while of making sure Edna was settled in the room I walked out of the room and headed downstairs, my mom was still seated on the couch so I walked up to her so that I could hear what she had to say.

“What is going on Darrel? You are not you anymore,” She said to me, sounding very angry. I was qui
