Alpha Darrel POV

The preparation to visit Edna’s family had already started, we needed to go pay our last respects to her grandmother, while I was arranging my boxi turned to look at her and I could easily tell she was just trying to get strong and not cry.

“Are you okay?” I asked her and she turned to look at me and nod her head. I decided not to pester her and let her try to sink it in, it’s not easy to accept the loss of a family member immediately.

When we were done packing our stuff I headed out of the room.

“You know you don’t have to go right?” My mother said to me, trying to convince me not to go. I stared at her face and I couldn’t believe her. How would she even say such a thing?

“Mom, you forget so easily that they are my family too.” I said to her and tried to walk away.

“So what if they are? She can go alone ahd take care of her family issues,” My mom said. I turned to look at Luna Becky whose hands were folded angrily.

“
