Edna POV

After a while I woke up, then I realized the whole time I was resting my head on Alpha Darrell. I closed my eyes immediately, I was too shy to raise my head after realizing that my head was on his shoulder.

Then his phone suddenly rang, I used that opportunity to raise my head. “Oh my goodness, how did I fall asleep?” I muttered and cleaned my face with my hand.

“Do you want to stop the car and move your legs a little?” Alpha Darrel asked and I nodded my head. Immediately the car stopped.

I stepped out of the car and took a little walk around while Alpha Darrel was on the phone. Thinking about going back home was making me feel sick, I really don’t want to see Amber looking hurt, I know she tries to hide it a lot but deep down she’s a softie, and aunt Erica.

The way she missed her brother’s birthday just to be with her mom made me realize she might love her mom more than she shows it.
