Kelvin’s POV

Nicholas looked like he was going to have a heart attack soon. “Oh no. I can’t believe you would do something like that. When did efficient, pretty PAs become your thing? You fired her from her old job and gave her another pretty soon. This is starting to sound like one of those rom-com flicks.”

“Listen, Nick, I only did that because I was stuck with the kids. I needed a babysitter badly, and she desperately needed a job again. Everything that has happened between us was consensual. I would never put her in a position where she had to do what she didn’t want to.”

Nicholas turned to me and said, “If you want my advice, I will tell you to leave that woman alone. She’s awesome with the kids, and that’s exactly what you want. I can’t blame your attraction to her; she’s beautiful, and any man would want her badly. That includes me, but it’s going to get pretty awkward if you both start fucking around the kids.”

“So what if they truly are in lov
