Kelvin’s POV

I heard the children’s squeals and the dog’s barks as I drew near their room and steeled myself to see Grace. I was still reeling from my conversation with Kira earlier on, and I didn’t know if I was ready to commit to a relationship.

“No one is asking you to marry her immediately. Get to know her, and you will probably realize she is the one.”

Kira’s words came back to me, and I exhaled sharply and pushed the door open.

My throat constricted sharply as I saw her. She was dressed in the most beautiful sequin red dress that draped over her lush curves nicely and hit her ankle. She was standing with her back to me, and I could see her dress was backless, held together on her neck by a golden strap.

She turned around at the sound of the door, and a strange gleam entered her eyes. She was breathtaking. The slit at one side of the dress exposed her creamy thighs, and I had a sudden urge to run my hand up her legs to her ass.
