Chapter 30
Keila's POV
"Keila, wake up; it's noon." I slowly opened my eyes. I saw Mama sitting next to me. "Wake up, son, we're going to the hospital now."
I stretched my body and sat down. My foot is still a bit sore, but he was doing better yesterday. "Good morning, Mom. I'll be here when I'm okay," I said.
"Are you sure you don't need me anymore?" he asked worriedly. "Maybe later, how will you be?"
"Mom, I can do it," was my answer. "I'll come down when I'm ready. Don't worry about me."
"Alright, it's up to you." Mama was about to leave, but Cloud suddenly arrived. "Let's just wait for Keila downstairs," he said to Cloud, but his face looked bad.
"You can't go down alone yet. Don't be stubborn, Keila. Call me when you're ready." Cloud growled. He's in serious mode again now. Wait, when isn't he? "I'll just get ready; I'll go with you. Just call me when you're ready, Keila." He left and went to his room.
