Elysia's POV

"Good morning madam" Rosaline greeted at first glance and I smiled at her.

"Good morning Rosaline." My eyes drifted around in search of Ian but the mansion was too quiet, though Ian has been awfully quiet since Becca's death.

"His teacher-Aurora, came over to pick him up." Rosaline answered.

For a moment I paused, my brows furrowed as I wondered why his teacher had come to the house. This has never happened before.

"Why was that?" 

Rosaline's brows furrowed, as though she would rather walk away than respond to my question, but then she answered "Ian had refused to leave for school without you dropping him off. His teacher arrived when they noticed he wasn't present. You know it's almost exams time and his attendance is of great importance. He missed school a lot dye to Becca's death." 

I could see the hidden anger in Rosaline's eyes. Her voice might have been explanatory but she spoke with utmost disgust.
