Chapter 40
Elysia's POV
I was standing in the crowded airport terminal, trying to find my gate among the sea of people. Suddenly, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around to find a man standing in front of me, his eyes piercing through me.
"Hi, I'm Hector," he said, extending his hand. My eyes trailed his face to his hand. There was an indifferent feeling, one that turned my insides.
For some reason, his voice lingered on my ears, despite he wasn't talking. My brows furrowed, and he waved his hand at me again-
"I'm Hector." he introduce himself again.
I shook his hand mechanically, trying to place where I had seen him before. He looked familiar, but I couldn't quite place him.
As we stood there, I began to feel a headache coming on. It started as a faint throbbing in my temples, but it quickly escalated to a full-blown migraine. I winced and closed my eyes, trying to block out the noise and chaos of the airport.
