Elysia's POV

As I stepped into the dimly lit hotel lobby, a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation coursed through my veins. I had been waiting for this day, the day that could change everything. Hector, my partner in crime, stood near the entrance, his back against the wall. He looked both relaxed and focused, his eyes scanning the room, taking in every detail.

"Hey, Hector," I called out, making my way towards him. The sound of my own voice felt strangely amplified in the hushed atmosphere.

His eyes met mine, and a grin crept across his face. "Elysia, you made it. Today's the big day."

I nodded, my heart pounding with a mix of excitement and nerves. "I've been waiting for this. What's the plan?"

Hector leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a low whisper. "Damon's collecting a hefty sum of money from his illicit sales tonight. Our job is to hijack it right under his nose."
