Chapter 86. A Mother’s Secrets
Alexander’s POV
As I arrived at his office, I knocked on the door, almost impatiently waiting for him to answer. After a few seconds, the door opened, and then I was staring face to face with the one man who I knew harbored the answers I sought.
“President Alexander,” Dr Hartman greeted as he flashed me a brief smile. “What a surprise you decided to see me today. How may I be of help?”
“Dr Martin Hartman,” I replied as I strode into his office, my hands dipped in my pockets. Just like the hospital, this office also smelled like antiseptic. I wasn’t a fan of hospitals so as usual, it made me uncomfortable.
“You can actually be of great help to me,” I spoke up as I stared at a picture on the wall. “I’m here in regards to a matter from a few years ago, Dr. It’s concerning One Miss Nina Crabtre’s mother.”
