I did not have any experience in this kind of thing. All my life, I was just a jewelry designer and not a detective; never in my life did I ever imagine I would need that skill. But the last thing that I wanted was to sit here and do nothing. I just could not let my mother’s murderer get scot-free. And, no matter what it cost, I had to find the truth.
I could not even digest the thought of confronting my father. It made my stomach churn. I honestly was not ready for that. His snarls and prying eyes as I spoke… God.
