“The time of death…” I muttered, squinting at the numbers. “It… it’s off.”
“Yes, I noticed that,” Alexander nodded, his jaw tight. “It does not match the time of admission, Nina. And that is not all that is weird in this file. Keep reading.”
I nodded, pressed my lips together and continued reading, my eyes widening with each suspicious thing I come across. There were a lot of strange gaps in the documents, as though they had been intentionally skipped.
