Chapter 117. Fury
Aria blinked.
Before the sound of the commotion reached her, she had already noticed the change in the weave. Around her, thin strands snapped and reconnected ---- all right before the crash. Her eyes were already following the strands so she saw what happened faster than Lucien did.
The large man ---- a beta wolf judging from the size of his lycan form ---- had felt a hand scrape through his coat and, without stopping to think or to even check if he had been stolen from, the man had lost it.
As she watched all this happen, her pulse spiked and in moments, she was already stomping towards the scene of the crime.
Aria still remembered the days and nights she spent, tucked away, all alone as her bruises bled from the abuse she suffered. If there was one thing she hated seeing more than anything, it was anyone abusing the power they thought they had. And this man? He wasn’t just abusing it, he was flaunting it right in the middle of the pack, her pack.
