Lucien’s gaze followed Orion’s sulking figure as the old alpha stumped out of the throne room. Orion’s face might have been emotionless, but Lucien could tell he was furious.
Not just by the way the doors shut hard behind him, but by how fast he actually moved.
But unlike what anyone else in his position would feel, Lucien honestly didn’t care. The man wasn’t worth his time, especially not when he could feel the disdain and rage he had for his mate.
