Chapter 21

While we were discussing, I heard a knock on my door. It was Prince Luke. Sangeeta was the one who rushed to open the door (she did not know at that time Prince Luke was the one knocking, even I did not know). Upon seeing Prince Luke outside and staring into his eyes, she was too shocked; she almost collapsed but was caught by one of Prince Luke’s guards. This was the first time I saw him with them; he wasn’t with them in the palace twice when I saw him or when he visited. I wondered why he brought them now.

I came out to see him and welcomed him. I invited them, and he entered with his three guards standing behind him.

“It seems you came with the entire squad today,” I said.

“Well, I have spoken to your boss, and he would not worry you for not coming to work today. I am traveling to the Honeywood pack; I have to attend to my business over there,” he said.
