Chapter 8
After realizing the results of my actions, I burst into tears. I began regretting why I had ever read that stupid book. I regretted why I even met these stupid werewolves and began to lay curses. I missed my true friends and family. Everything about this place was dangerous, and I was lonely. While I was sobbing, I saw Lilian sitting outside the prison bars.
“Lilian!” I called out. She held my hand and said, “I heard what happened.”
“I am so sorry,” I wanted to explain, but she held me and said, “It is okay, I understand. We did get you out of here.”
She encouraged me to wipe my eyes and gave me some food she brought for me, and then she vanished away. For the first time, I tried vanishing, but it did not work. I knew it wouldn’t work now that I was in a cell.
