Chapter 111. The Right Thing to Brew
“Cheer up, Princess.” Greg ruffled her hair when they reached the table. “It’s just a spilled tee.” He grinned. “Do you want to do the favor and clean it?” He extended the towel to her.
Clean it? Of course she would. Lucy’s eyes lit up and she grabbed the towel from his hands. She would clean the table spotlessly clean. This way, she would fix the mess and she didn’t have to feel guilty anymore.
She wiped off the tea and cleaned it so much that the white table sparkled again. And when she lifted her head, Greg was staring at her with an amused smile.
“You did great,” he commented and she gave him a wide smile.
Well, problem solved. He was pleased with her. That meant the probability of him being mad was zero.
“I’ll be right back.” She picked up the towel and dashed away to the kitchen.
