“Are you certain that we didn’t have to tell him? Your son was right; we needed to proceed in this manner. We couldn’t let it go without a fight,” I informed him.

Then he took my hand in his and gently caressed it as Elliot shared his thoughts. After all, we did it for his benefit and disclosed something about someone’s character.

“Let’s just make sure our youngster is safe, so please calm down, sweetheart,” he mentioned to me.

But something is worrying me. I’m not sure how I’ll feel when he realizes that we were the ones who caused him to lose the happiness he had come to cherish so greatly.
