Chantal’s POV

We decided to stay for another day to buy a gown. We enjoyed our quality time, but I hadn’t been able to find what I needed for the ball, which was the main reason we flew all the way here. So, Mateo ordered Luis again to ask Mateo’s second secretary to arrange all his schedules for today because we would be late. But on this day, we could also go home since he would be flying the jet back to our hometown, so we wouldn’t have a hard time.

We were in a gown boutique, and I didn’t know how to read the name, but it seemed elegant, with lots of customers in different rooms. Mateo was now sitting in front of me with his right leg resting on his left leg, holding a magazine.

“How about this?” I asked him, and he lifted his gaze to mine, assisting me to turn using his pointy finger. I did the same. It was the fourth try on the sets of gowns they had chosen. But he shook his head. I didn’t know if he had a sense of fashion, if he knew what my style was
