Chapter 6

Chantal’s POV

Before the ceremony began, I smiled at the guests and allowed them to take pictures of me. I took a photo with my parents, and even though I didn’t know what Mateo looked like, he was undoubtedly handsome. My parents also took a photo with him.

My parents found it amusing when we mentioned that my villa might make a wonderful place for us to spend our honeymoon. They recently stocked up lots of food for our stay. I blushed at the idea that Mateo had recommended the honeymoon be held in my villa, which I thought was a nice idea. There was only one bedroom in the villa, specifically made for a couple, but he was willing to sleep on the sofa.

After the shareholders and friends from each company arrived, the ceremony began. I walked down the aisle with my parents at my side.

Dad cried and said, “You’re so beautiful!”
