Chantal’s POV
Sunsets never cease to enthrall me. I honestly never grow weary of seeing this kind of scenery. I was looking at the sun going down and felt the breeze all of a sudden. I hugged my knees.
I liked spending the second day here. Mateo taught me how to cook, and I thought he wasn’t that bad at all. Mateo also thanked me for having a vacation like this, and I was surprised to see him this unbothered.
Oh well, I won’t be surprised if his business was at the top of all the aviation firms in the city. It’s fortunate that he was able to take a break, even if it was for only a brief time.
Mateo said, “Hey,” and I just stared at him. I continued to hug my knees and watched the sunset as he sat beside me. We remained silent.
