Chapter 15. Ear-Piercing Scream

Juliet comes out of the bathroom, drying her wet hair with a small towel as she walks across the large room. She has just finished taking a shower. Without further ado, she heads to her built-in closet, which is at the other end of her room.

She hums a song as she enters the closet and looks around, trying to decide on what to wear.

After contemplating for a little while, she settles on a pink crop top and jeans, which she quickly puts on before she grabs her phone and exits the room.

Juliet is just walking out of her room when she feels her phone vibrating.

She peeks at the phone screen and sees it’s a call from the office.

She sighs and quickly swipes across the screen to answer the call.

Since it had been a while she’s been at the office, she’s been getting so many calls now and then.

"Yes? Tell me," She mumbles immediately after the call is connected.

Maria, her secretary’s thin voice rings out from the other end.
