Chapter 20. Who Could It Be?

Juliet exits Lucien’s ward after she sees he is still unconscious.

She had already made some plans with the doctor about what to do when he eventually regained consciousness.

She decides to go home and freshen up a little before returning later.

Her eyes are all red from crying and her silky strawberry blonde hair is a mess.

She sighs as she wonders how she’ll be able to leave like that with the horde of reporters in the hospital’s front. They’ll just make a huge fuss about everything.

She looks around in surprise when she walks out of the hospital and sees everywhere empty.

There is no sign of even a single reporter.

She thanks her stars, hurries into her car, and zooms off.

After almost an hour of driving, she arrives at the Pearsons’ mansion. She packs her car and steps out, walking into the mansion.
