Chapter 55

Jeremy wrapped the scarf tightly around his neck as he walked along the road. After that very call earlier, he had made a request to his uncle to drop him and Mandy off. Aunt Kelly was urprised and asked why. Jeremy had to explain everything. As much as the family was saddened to see him leave, they understood. His mother had been surprised to see him back soon and it was another round of explanations.

Jeremy spotted Crazy Johnny reclining by the R.V and walked over to meet him. The old man smiled as soon as he saw him approach.

"Jeremy." He said, his voice a little surprised. " Back from vacation already?"

"Yeah." Jeremy replied. "It's an emergency."

"What happened?" Crazy Johnny's face showed concern now.

"Another werewolf has been killed." Jeremy sighed, rubbing the back of his neck.
