Chapter 8

Kyle pumped his fists in victory as he scored a touchdown during practice.

“Very impressive, Blake.” The coach nodded as he wrote something down on his notepad.

Kyle grinned and gave a thumbs up. His day was going great so far. From that morning, everything had started well. Besides the incident with the fridge and everyone giving him strange looks since he arrived at school. The funny thing was that he couldn’t spot the difference in himself when he stared at the mirror that morning. 

The icing on the cake wqas Hank’s futile attempt to injure him during the tryouts. He grinned widely as he spotted the large redhead fuming with his buddies. Hank trying to run him over was like a cat trying to knock over a bus. It was almost like his body was made of stone to the latter’s surprise and frustration.

Far off in the stands and watching the practice was lucy and her cheerleader gang. They had finished their practice routine and stayed back to watch the boys.
