Chapter 15. Lucky and Unlucky

Kate's POV

“Welcome! Kate,” a woman happily said immediately as I opened my eyes.

I felt respite after I had woken up from the long sleep and elongated myself to the length I couldn’t continue any further.

“Who are you?” I asked, throwing the heavy blankets away again. This time, I wasn’t naked.

“I am Marilyn, your doctor for the day,” she introduced herself and sat beside me, “can I ask you a few questions to help me help you better?”

“Sure, why not? And I am Kate Doe, your patient for the day,” I spoke, realizing my voice was normal.

“That’s funny, it's nice you’re funny!” she laughed her ass out, “I already know your name, let’s move on to the main issue.” She added.

“I don’t see that funny, I was trying to introduce myself,” I debated, sitting upright.

“Yeah, funny people don’t know they are funny, by the way, I’m sorry,” she begged, “what happened to you, Kate? Tell me what you remember before you…just tell me about your day.” She
