Chapter 14. Death Wish

Matt's POV

“I’m Dr. Charles Osborn, we need to talk in my office, please,” a doctor insisted. He walked just as he spoke. He rapped and walked faster. This doctor seemed to have no time to waste.

He led the way right away and we followed his steps, moving fast till we banged into his office, maintaining the same pace.

“This should be confidential. Can you excuse us, gentlemen?” he asked Antonio, who had already pulled a seat.

Antonio made no attempt to leave. He was just doing his job and was waiting for command. He wouldn’t take instructions from anyone except me, even when he followed me to the court after the death of my father. I wasn't ready to let him walk out just like that.

“Did you hear me, Sir?” he continued and looked at me, thinking I would help him send Antonio out.

“What are you doing now?” Antonio asked. There was a serious problem, but I was enjoying their drama.

“I’m doing my work,” the doctor answered, still wasting my time
