I heard the muffled sound of shoes that were heading closer toward our room which was more like a closet. I had a mini panic attack because of our situation, but then I focused on a solution, and an idea popped into my mind.

“Hold me!” I yelled at Daniel in a hushed voice.

“What?!” He whispered back with a confused frown on his face.

Oh god, I cannot believe I am doing this! But what other options do we have?

“I said to hold me in your arms,” I ordered him slightly again, forcing out my words. I would not have asked him to do that in any other condition. But this time, I have to give up my pride.

“Okay?” He said to me uncertainly as he placed both of his hands on either side of my waist and pulled me closer to him.

Damn it! I think he is going to make me spell it out for him. He is not making the situation easy at all.
