Iris lay with her head nestled on Adolphus’ chest, while his fingers tenderly tracing patterns on her arms, both finding comfort in the warmth of the hot water.

“Iris, I’m planning to take some time off from work to create beautiful memories with you, away from all this,” Adolphus shared.

Iris lifted her head to meet his gaze. “Where are we going?” she asked, curiosity shining in her eyes.
