Chapter 33. I'm Searching for You

It’s dark and quiet. Max didn’t know what next to do. He was all alone in the middle of nowhere. He lay on the sand and uses the rock to support his head. There’s nothing he could have done to stop Osai from disappearing with Jasmine. He too was helpless as he was pinned to the ground.

However, he didn’t see it that way, instead, he blames himself. Just a while ago he didn’t succeed in getting Essie to reveal the whereabouts of Osai and possibly where he has taken his wife.

Max hissed. He started gazing into the pink sky that flashes continuous dark lightning. He hissed once more rolling on his side as he went deep into his regrettable state.

“I should have stopped him.”

One thing Max will never stop doing is blaming himself for everything that has gone wrong when it comes to Jasmine. As her husband, he strongly believes he should keep her safe at all costs. If Lucifer brought Osai back, then Osai will stop at nothing to earn his stay in the land of the dead
