Chapter 40. Fish-Man: Triton

Jasmine cast a searing gaze on Max. “Your appetite reaching hungry-hungry hippo type.”

There were both sitting next to a lake. It’s been two days since they encountered Poseidon. Max isn’t going easy on the fish they got from the lake. He’s famished. The way he’s eating the fish indicates that. He isn’t chewing but swallows it down at several bites.

“That’s because I’m damn hungry,” he muttered without even looking at Jasmine. He takes another several bite and swallowed without chewing.

He didn’t wait to finish the one he was still eating; he grabbed another fish from the fire. A while ago after he got the fish from the lake, he gathered a few planks of wood and makes fire using his ability to create fire.

He hasn’t been able to eat properly for the past few days. Perhaps he could make the lake his dwelling place for him not to lack fish.
