Chapter 95. Some Good News

Sleep soon stole Anna away and for some reason it was one of the best sleeps of her life. 

Maybe that was because she had been so tired physically, emotionally, and mentally. But yeah, a win's a win, at least she got in all hours of sleep. 

She would have kept sleeping if her phone did not wake her up. At first, it sounded as if the sound was in a dream of hers, but soon, she jolted awake. 

She saw the device on the floor and she fluttered her eyes as she tried to clear the fog from her mind. 

She reached for it after a few seconds and grabbed it. It was an unknown number and without hesitation, she answered.

If she was not just waking up and her brain trying to catch up, she wouldn’t have answered just like that, but she did.

“Hello?” She put the phone on speakerphone. Her voice was a bit groggy.

“Hello, is this Anna Hall? I’m calling from the bank, you came here yesterday and brought two checks.”

Her heart skipped a beat
