Chapter 98. Money, Money, Money

Chills ran down her spine as she read the name. It only confirmed what she was already thinking. 

The elevator came to a stop and the automated doors opened. She walked out, slipping the paper in one of her pockets.

Her heart hammered in her chest and she felt like throwing up. She was not safe. She knew that.

But all she needed to do was to stay out of Victor’s lane and she knew she would be fine. She did know that she was not going back to her hometown.

So she needed to find a good excuse because she knew her mom was not going to have it. The woman was going to be pissed. She was very controlling and hated when she couldn’t get her way.

Walking through the hallway, she glanced around, super alert of her surroundings. She was on edge, and rightfully so. 

She knew how dangerous Victor was. He was the reason that Liam and his family were now dead. Anna did not want that to happen to her and her family.
