Chapter 102. Passion
She started to walk slowly, going towards the source of the sounds. She knew that she was taking a risk, but she felt like not fighting back or trying to defend herself was going to be riskier.
She closed the distance between her and the light switch, her blood rushing through her veins. Then it was time. She had to do it.
She turned the lights on and was ready to attack with the sharp knife until she saw who it was.

“What the hell? Zac?” She dropped the knife to the floor and held her chest as she breathed deeply, her chest heaving up and down.
He chuckled. He looked better than before. His stubble was now gone and he was clean shaven. His eyes looked fuller and there was more color to them.
