Chapter 115. Surrounded

Anna blinked, the name sending a strange shiver through her. She knew it very well. And she had been thinking on the same person.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right? That was what they were going to use in their favor. 

Kevin stiffened. “You’re talking about that Vito?” His voice was tight with disbelief. “The same guy who almost had our entire family killed?”

Zac nodded, rubbing a hand over his face. “We need him. We can’t win this fight on our own.”

Anna nodded in agreement. She could see that her brother didn’t like the idea but it was their best shot. “He’s right, Kevin.”

Kevin crossed his arms, skeptical. “Sounds like we’d just be trading one devil for another.” His words were breathy.

Anna bit her lip, hesitation gnawing at her, but she knew she just had to trust the plan. “How do we even reach out to him?”

“You and Kevin can look for him in the morning, I will stay here,” Zac explained. “I think I know where he could be.”
