Chapter 7. Stalkers Care, You Know?
A stalker?
As in someone who harassed another person with unwanted and obsessive attention? That sounded a little bit extreme.
Anna was not popular at school, nor was she famous. Why would someone even want to stalk her?
“Are you sure of this?” she asked, and the special agent nodded.
“But how do you know this?” Kevin fired a question, too.
From the tone of his voice, Anna could tell that he was concerned about her. He may have been annoying at most times, but she knew without a doubt that he loved her and was even protective of her.
“We have been monitoring your house since the accident for covert reasons that will be explained later. That was when we saw the guy.” Officer Nathan explained as he fished out his phone, clicked on the screen a bit, and handed it to Anna.
“He always parks in his car and just watches the house. But mostly, you,” the officer added and nodded in Anna’s direction.
