Chapter 59. Tristan Returns

Amelia’s POV

They told me about Tristan’s childhood antics, Stefan’s ex-wife Claudia, how Stefan and Anna met, Arielle's birth, and much more. I listened intently to all the gossip and my mood lightened. 

Later, I helped Martha with breakfast. She told me all about Tristan’s favorite food and also how to make them. I was thrilled to learn so much from her. It seemed I made the right decision to come here. We laid the table together and for a while; I forgot all about my bad mood, my worries, and my work and got involved in their conversations and their jokes. 

After breakfast, Dad and Adrian went fishing at a small tidal pool nearby where plenty of fish got stuck every day. Mom and I just strolled towards the beach, picking shells, walking aimlessly, joking, and laughing.
