Chapter 57. Getting Info

With my arms crossed over my chest, I lean against the back cement wall of the interrogation room and glare at the rogue. He is barely awake and has cuts all over his body, while blood slowly oozes down the side of his face and the front of his bare chest. His breathing is shallow, and he is rather pale. The pack doctors and nurses are waiting outside in the hall, in case they are needed. This is the only rogue to survive, and he is the smallest of all of them.
I grind my teeth as Blake leans over the small table and slaps the side of the man’s face. His eyes blink and open for a moment as he looks up at the Alpha. The prisoner briefly focuses on Blake and frowns before his eyelids slowly dip back down.
My frustrations surge as I fight back the urge to take over the interrogation. I’m still not sure exactly how the other prisoner died. He was alive when we dragged him here and when I left the interrogation room. Moments later, he was dead.
