My grip tightens around my phone as I grind my teeth. Idiots! I have freaking idiots working for me.

I stare out my living room window. With my lip twitching into a sneer, I growl, “What do you mean the deal can’t be completed? We had an agreement last week. All you were waiting for was the contract. Now, the contract is completed, and you are refusing to sign it. Why?”

A gruff voice replies, “You haven’t held up your end of the bargain yet. I also don’t believe you can get me what I’m wanting. There isn’t any other way to hammer out this deal and complete this contract, no matter what you offer.”

My phone creaks as my grip tightens again. I’m not losing this deal.
