Chapter 41. Fuse of Jealousy

As Lacey landed inside the lake, she picked herself up and made her way towards Neena. However, James blocked Neena from attacking Lacey again. He wasn’t happy with his moments being interrupted.

“What has come over you?”

“Step aside now and let me send this vampire back to where she belongs.”

“I won’t let you do that.”

James boldly stood his ground against Neena. He doesn’t want to fight her but if worst comes to worst, he will have to forget she has been teaching him how to use his hidden powers in his dreams. The last thing he wants to do is to fight the one that has released so much power to him but he can’t just watch her new love be slaughtered.

Lacey glared at Neena. She wanted to fight back but since James intervened she decided not to retaliate. “Why did you attack me?”

“It’s quite simple, just stay away.”

“Stay away from what?” James cuts in with his eyes fixed on Neena. He was lost. ‘What could she be possibly talking about?’
