Alex walked into the kitchen and there was no omega present. He opened the pantry door and looked through the spices. He found the one he was looking for and placed it in his pocket. He closed the door and walked out of the kitchen. He was heading back to the living room when he noticed an emerald green orb placed in an open space that was close to the staircase. The emerald green orb was in a portrait that had an upholstered handle holding it in place. He squinted his eyes as he kept staring at the painting, wondering where he had seen it.

He pondered for a few fleeting minutes until it hit him. He had seen this same portrait in this same position in his own pack house, but just before his parents announced their traveling, they had taken the portrait down and thrown it away.
