Shantelle’s POV

I stepped out of my house with no place in mind to go to. Keshon’s place would have been the best place I would have loved to be. Maybe she could just talk to me and calm me down.

I would love that, but I just left there, and going back there would raise a lot of questions from her mother. She might not voice it out, but I was very sure I was going to see it in her eyes. She wasn’t good at hiding things.

Keshon’s mama was single, and she had been that way since I could remember. She always wore her feelings on her sleeve.

I wouldn’t need to say anything for her to detect that something was wrong with me or something was happening in the house.

I wasn’t even dressed to go there.

I wore one of the sexiest gowns I owned. I got it from Target, and I had never worn it. I shouldn’t be wearing this to Keshon’s place.
