Shantelle’s POV

I didn’t want to leave Reginald, but at the same time, I was curious about what Roman wanted to say to me. It must be serious if he was standing here, trying to get my attention.

“Let’s go.”

I took his hand, not waiting for a response from Reginald because he didn’t own me. I could do what I liked without being asked questions from him.

“What do you want?” I asked immediately, letting go of his hand.

“You have been avoiding me.”
