Chapter 136. She Hates Me

Helen's head whipped back to Marissa as she heard her say in a voice so unlike her as she stretched her hand toward the doctor, "Dr. Feranmi, my child. My innocent baby had been taken from me," she said in a hoarse whisper.

"I know, Marissa. I am so sorry about that. None of us wished for this. I am deeply sorry."
