Ava’s POV

We both looked at her and Lydia quickly got off from my bed and knelt down on the floor.

“I’m so sorry ma’am. She was asleep so I was trying to wake her up.” Lydia said and I nodded.

My mum looked at the both of us suspiciously and her eyes went to my hand and she gritted her teeth.

“Why aren’t you wearing your necklace? Why is it in your hand?” She asked and tried to collect it from me but I raised my hand up to avoid that.
