Sophia’s POV

I and my friends had been moving through the underworld now for about what would seem like a month to any observer. Though obviously that much time had not passed in the real world since our arrival to this place. I just could not get the thought of what my mom said to me off my mind. I practically had no family now except for my dad. I had lost my sweet mom and my mentor and friend Miss Ava, and worse than that was the fact that not only were they murdered, but they were murdered by the same person.

I won’t come here and claim any sort of self-righteousness. I was hell-bent on killing whoever murdered my mom and Miss Ava. I had already sensed the presence of the killer in the underworld and decided not to do anything rash seeing as my Mom told me how powerful a witch she was.
